Need me like you did before
Touch me once again
And remember when
There was no one that you wanted more
Don't go you know you will break my heart
She won't love you like I will
I'm the one who'll stay
When she walks away
And you know I'll be standing here still
I'll be waiting for you
Here inside my heart
I'm the one who wants to love you more
You will see I can give you
Everything you need
Let me be the one to love you more
See me as if you never knew
Hold me so you can't let go
Just believe in me
I will make you see
All the things that your heart needs to know
I'll be waiting for you
Here inside my heart
I'm the one who wants to love you more
You will see I can give you
Everything you need
Let me be the one to love you more
And some way all the love that we had can be saved
Whatever it takes we'll find a way
I'll be waiting for you
Here inside my heart
I'm the one who wants to love you more
You will see I can give you
Everything you need

]]>Teachers Should Be Paid According To How Much Their Students Learnhttp://nylover.exblog.jp/10488215/2009-06-23T22:38:00+09:002009-06-24T00:17:01+09:002009-06-23T22:38:20+09:00ny_rエッセイ
Education is always central when people talk about child care. Most parents want their children to receive an education in good surroundings, so teachers play a very important role. Obviously, teachers’ quality is linked to their students’ grade and behavior because students spend most of their time at school and learn from their teachers a lot. Although teachers influence their students, some people believe that teachers shouldn’t be paid according to how well their students learn. I totally disagree with this proposition. It is a good idea to pay teachers according to how much their students learn.
First of all, teachers deserve to be paid according to the quality of their work to motivate to do good work. If teachers can get the same salary whether they work hard or not, some of them won’t make an effort. Some teachers might not care about their students’ grades and behavior. Also, they might neglect their duty to make their students participate in class. Moreover, if teachers receive a flat salary, many will become demoralized. Therefore, teachers should be paid according to how much their students learn in order to encourage teachers to perform well.
In addition, teachers should be evaluated by how much they contribute to improve their students’ skills. Basically, when classes are well-prepared, students learn, enjoy, and participate a lot. Occasionally, the quality of class is connected with students’ grades. Of course, there is a difference between students who learn fast and slow, so teachers have to take time to make each student understand. Sometimes, teachers need to use extra time for slow students. This is a necessary part of teaching that requires a lot of patience. Some teachers might ignore slow students even if they make extra effort, they shouldn’t be paid according to how much their students learn. Thus, teachers should be evaluated by their contribution.
Finally, some people say students shouldn’t be measured by their grades because there are some differences between students such as ability or family environment. However, grades are one of the tools to measure how much students learn from their teachers. If teachers aren’t judged according to their students’ scores, their teaching skills won’t improve. Besides, teachers should be estimated by their activities like other professionals. For example, waiters get tips according to their customers’ satisfaction, and sales persons get paid according to the sales they make. It is quite unfair that workers can’t be evaluated by their quality of work. Therefore, teachers should get salary according to their students’ grades.
To summarize, teachers should be paid according to how much their students learn. This policy will encourage teachers to be motivated to prepare well-organized classes. If teachers provide high quality of instruction, students’ grades will improve. It is absolutely fair that there is a difference between teachers who are enthusiastic about teaching and those that are not.
]]>Knowledge Gained through Life Experience is Importanthttp://nylover.exblog.jp/10489308/2009-02-04T00:46:00+09:002009-06-24T00:50:21+09:002009-06-24T00:48:37+09:00ny_rエッセイ
How do people expand their knowledge? Some people prefer to acquire their knowledge through their life experience and others prefer to learn from books. There are a lot of great books from which one can acquire many kinds of knowledge, enabling one to learn fast and efficiently. However, I strongly believe that knowledge gained through life experience is more important than knowledge gained from books.
First of all, learning a second language in real life is valuable. For example, learning English in English-speaking countries is more efficient than learning it from books in non-English-speaking countries. People can learn English in their countries because there are a lot of English books and schools in the world. However, living in English-speaking countries is a much faster way to learn English. People are exposed to natural language, including slang, as it is used in everyday life. When I was in my country, I knew what “What’s up?” meant, but I didn’t know how to reply. I learned I should reply “Not much” from public conversations here in the US. Learning language through life experience is more effective than learning it from books.
Secondly, people learn vital skills through playing sports. For instance, from books people can learn the rules of a sport and how to play the sport. It is difficult, however, to learn about teamwork. When people play sports, they can realize how important teamwork is, and they understand why people have to follow the rules. In my country, people who have played sports have advantages when they are job hunting because by playing sports people become responsible and coporative. In addition, people can feel satisfied when they accomplish their goals. People can only imagine these feelings of achievement when they read books, but it is not real. Therefore, playing sports is more important than learning from books.
Finally, some people say learning from books is faster than learning through life experience because some books are based on people’s experience, so if they learn from books first, they don’t have to make mistakes. However, making mistakes is also important for expanding knowledge. If people depend on books too much, they become afraid to make mistakes and hesitate to try new things. For example, people who study English as a second language don't have enough vocabulary from the beginning. I have had some classmates whose English has improved very rapidly, although their grammatical skills are limited. The reason why they are fast learners is that they aren’t afraid of making mistakes. People learn by making mistakes over and over again and by doing so they acquire their knowledge permanently. Thus, learning from life experience is more important than learning from books.
In conclusion, knowledge gained through life experience is more important than knowledge learned from books. People learn language faster by living in the culture than by just relying on books. Besides, people learn teamwork and social skills through playing sports, which they can’t learn from books. Moreover, people expand their knowledge through their mistakes. People can buy books which they can acquire their knowledge, but they can’t buy life experience. Life experience is different for each person. People can read about other people’s experience, but it does not mean that it would be the same for everyone. That’s why personal experience is valuable and priceless.
